Am keen to hear of success stories of using sensors to monitor photosynthesis in realtime (and use in a control loop). Infrared?
We have a technology to measure plant electrophysiology (which can be used as a proxy for photosynthesis as well as other plant issues such as disease or infestation). It has been integrated in a feedback loop for water usage here in Switzerland. We think it is a really promising technology. (www.phytlsigns.com)
Unsure of its quality as a product but the Arable Mark is used for automating crop yield studies - is this what you mean by “monitoring photosynthesis?” If not, can you be more specific?
